Ice Castles

Winter time in Utah!? 

(Or Colorado or New Hampshire.)

Well I have a cheap, fun date night or family activity for ya! 

THE ICE CASTLES! IN MIDWAY! 

This beautiful hand made structure contains tunnels, slot canyons, mountains of icicles and even an ICE SLIDE! 

With lights to make the ice change colors all night long this place sets an awesome background to some cute photos :) 

Plan a trip!!

-Mondays are cheap days! $8 (Buy tickets at the door)

-other weekdays $9 weekends $10

-tickets also found on ksl, groupon etc. 

-week days seem to be less crowded

-wear a warm coat

-wear boots. Some parts of the castles have deep snow to walk through. (Wearing tennis shoes may not keep the snow from coming in, which will then make your feet cold the rest of the night, my boyfriend quickly learned this)

-we probably spent about an hr inside 

-hot chocolate and donuts for sell outside. 

-open during the day as well but I would recommend night time :)
