Friday July 12, 2013 was cow appreciation day.
That means at Chick-Fil-A you get free food if you dress like a cow.
I believe the rule is; if you have a hat or some sort of cow accessory then you receive a free entree, but if you dress in a full cow outfit you receive the whole meal free. And you can choose from almost anything on the menu, the things that are not fully free you just pay a little potion of the actual meal price.
So last year was the first year I heard about it so I dressed the boys up and took them out to eat! It was so much fun! The boys I watch have a pretty strict diet because they are allergic to many things so going out to a fast food/restaurant is a big fun event in itself because they rarely get to experience that. Then throw in the dress up preparation it is sounds like such a fun event. But guess what; that's not it! They also have an employee come out in a cow suit and take pictures with the kids and they have a play ground in the building which my boys just absolutely love!
So this past friday we went again and it was a wonderful success! So much fun; preparing, eating and playing. I was a very good day!
It was so hard getting a great picture of all three of us!
Owen saying moo!
Owen saying cheese and Mason finally smiling normal.
Aww such a great picture of Owen hugging. My face ruins it :(
This was the closest I got haha.
Well all I did was dress us in all white or all black.
Cut out black or white spots and tape them on with blue masking tape.
Tape together two strips of white paper and draw some black spots on it. Cut out ears (color some pink on them) and tape them to the headband!
And there you go; a cow outfit!
